REFLEKTORS

I love Arcade Fire!  We've been following them for years now ever since they've been on our radar.  It helps that the Butler brothers grew up in Texas and solidified them in our hearts forever. Brian and Win even share a birthday, which they drunkenly commiserated about in a Vegas Casino once.

So we had the pleasure seeing them twice in one week here in L.A.  On this particular tour they asked that their fans dressed up in costume or formal attire to attend.  For their record release party, they asked we dressed as Reflektors (the name of their new album). It was held at the iconic Capitol Records building and it was a show I'll soon not forget.

For our outfits, I had inspiration strike and made these amazing mirrored masks to wear.  Let me tell you, purposely breaking up mirror bits is VERY satisfying.  We even embellished our formal outfits in foil and mirror to jazz up the joint.  The results were so fun and striking, we even made it into LA Weekly! http://blogs.laweekly.com/westcoastsound/2013/10/arcade_fire_capitol_records_2013_reflektor.php
